SharePoint supports only one type of navigation based on master pages and layouts, which is common for all the pages created with that master page. This is a limitation in real time web content publishing setup and can be overcome with the use of SAI Publishing template.
  • Customized menus (horizontal and vertical) based on ASP 2.0 menu addresses the limitations of SharePoint Navigation. Submenu is now possible without the need to create separate sub sites.
  • Taxonomy can be tagged easily for the contents created using Taxonomy Viewer Web Part.
