SAI User Profile Management solution will manage SharePoint user profiles and security across multiple SharePoint sites. SharePoint stores user information in SSP and User Information List (depending upon SharePoint version) but does not provide option to create new users in the configured membership providers. Now Administrators can create new users in the defined membership providers, with ability to create multiple group memberships in SharePoint environment for easier security management. User Types is a feature, which allows Administrators to create users with preconfigured security access permissions across SharePoint sites. Solution can be configured to automatically sync multiple User Information Lists in WSS 3.0 environment.
